Teaching through Progressive Discipline 

Date:  Thursday, February 15, 2007
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Location:  Ottawa University, 10020 N. 25th Ave, Phoenix (I-17 & Dunlap)
Speaker:  Dr. Baron Smith, Adjunct Professor of Business & CEO/President of Key Solutions Group, Inc.

Description:  This workshop provides a modified approach to using progressive discipline to gain desired behaviors of our valuable employees. That is, discipline should be viewed as a teaching tool rather than a punishment for undesired behaviors that lead to poor performance. Why and how progressive discipline should be used to alter behaviors will be discussed, including coaching, mentoring, counseling, verbal warnings, written warnings, suspensions, and terminations.
