The enrollment numbers for Ottawa University’s fall 2013 semester are in. Census day for The College was Monday, September 23, and the official number of undergraduate and graduate full-time enrolled students is 561, with a persistence rate spring to fall of 81 percent.
Of the total undergraduate enrollment, 139 are new students, 41 are transfer students, and 361 are returning. Of graduate students, six are new and 14 are returning. Combined, these students are taking a total of 8,026 credit hours.
"This year's incoming class is of the highest caliber," says Chief Operating Officer Keith Johnson. "The students bring strong academic backgrounds and represent a broad base of engagement and leadership across The College, including in theater, campus ministries, athletics, music, cheer and dance, and numerous activities. As we continue to strengthen our offerings and build our student body in these and other key areas, the future of Ottawa University looks very bright as we move closer to Vision 2020."
