Ottawa University is seeking adjunct instructors with an earned master’s or doctorate degree in economics to teach undergraduate as well as master’s level economics courses. Classes meet evenings, once a week, at our Brookfield and Oak Creek, Wisconsin locations; terms are 8 weeks long.

Responsible for providing administrative support, to the unit’s Campus Executive and Dean of Instruction, through a collegial, confidential and efficient service. Provides organizational guidance and assistance for the unit’s administrative operations. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to multitask, excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, an understanding of the University’s organization, an ability to work in a positive, problem solving skills and the capacity to regularly make decisions and exercise sound judgment. Routinely interacts with persons both internal and external to the University. Assumes responsibility for special projects when requested by the Campus Executive to include areas such as Marketing, liaison work with Advancement and Alumni Services and special event functions.
