Prepare for Your Kansas Teaching License

If you hold a baccalaureate or advanced degree from an accredited university and would like to become licensed to teach in Kansas schools, Ottawa University offers a teacher certification program for you.

The Teacher Certification Program gives you the necessary training, coursework and expertise needed to acquire a teaching license in elementary education or secondary education. Following a successful completion of the state prescribed pre-certification performance tests, you will be ready to begin a rewarding career as a certified or licensed teacher.
