Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education

This unique program has been created to offer you dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. You will gain the knowledge, competencies, methods, communication skills and sensitivity to be a highly effective teacher of students from birth to 8-years-old. Deepen your understanding of early childhood and special education through participation in methods courses, professional education courses, and field experiences and observations.

You will also develop critical-thinking skills, awareness of cultural diversity, and knowledge of the social and political contexts of education.

New Arizona teacher certification requirements specify that all teachers must be highly qualified in early childhood in order to teach students from birth to 8-years-old.
