Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education

Develop the knowledge, competencies, methods, communication skills and sensitivity to be effective in elementary school through Ottawa University’s elementary education degree. Immerse yourself in methods courses, professional education courses, and field experiences and observations as you work toward your teacher certification. You will also develop critical-thinking skills and an awareness of cultural diversity and the social and political contexts of education.

Elementary Education majors must also demonstrate ability in the liberal arts subjects of mathematics, science, writing, communication and the fine arts.
