Ottawa University is committed to your success. In order to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses better as you prepare to learn online, we encourage you to complete the following SmarterMeasure survey. On the next few pages you will be asked questions about how well you can use a computer; how motivated, organized and self-directed you are; how you prefer to learn new information; and you will even be able to measure your on-screen reading speed and comprehension. Your scores on this assessment will not prevent you from being able to take online classes, nor will your scores impact your grades in courses you may already be taking. This is simply a tool to help you make the most of your learning experience.
SmarterMeasure takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. You can save and complete it later if necessary. Your scores will be displayed in clear and understandable graphs and text. In addition to that, you may receive an email from Ottawa University letting you know about sources for support in the areas in which you could use some assistance.
