Ottawa University Collaborative Venture With AASBO

Ottawa University finalized a collaborative agreement with the Arizona Association of School Business Officials (AASBO). The agreement allows AASBO members who have taken AASBO coursework through Central Arizona College to transfer those credits into Ottawa University’s Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree program.

The latest edition of the Ottawa Spirit is now online. This "Commencement" edition contains some very special articles featuring: Ottawa University alumni in the midst of the Joplin and Tuscaloosa tornadoes, Dr. Murle Mordy being “knighted,” and a moving story of triumph for a Lost Boy of Sudan, Jakoma Machok. In addition to the stories, you will find a commencement photo gallery of this year’s graduation ceremonies.

Ottawa University - Online was recently recognized as a leader in distance education when it received the Distance Education Best Practices award from the Association of Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), a professional association dedicated to improving instruction through technology. The award, which is sponsored by Information Age Publishers and AECT’s Division of Distance Learning, was announced following AECT’s review of the University’s online application outlining its “Real-time Orientation to Online Learning” initiative.
