Online Bachelor's Degree in Management Admission Process
Step 1: A Conversation
In this first step toward gaining admission into the program, we ask you to have a conversation with a full-time faculty advisor or admissions counselor to help you more fully understand the Online Bachelor's Degree Program in Management. For more than thirty years, Ottawa University has maintained an outstanding reputation in working with adult students who were pursuing a degree. In the conversation, the faculty member will help you apply your earlier college work and life experience to a degree at Ottawa University.
Admissions Criteria: (a) Post secondary (after high school) academic or life experience, (b) $50 application fee, and (c) a telephone or in-person interview.
Life learning, selected certifications, and certain licensures may be evaluated for college credit. (Receiving college credit for life learning requires enrollment in Ottawa University's assessment course). Ottawa University's online Management degree is designed to build on the knowledge and experience that adult students bring to the academic setting. We rely on our students to ensure a successful academic venture just as they rely on us to provide the rigor and credibility upon which the venture is based. Successful students must bring the following attributes and competencies to the program: honesty, self-motivation, willingness to spend the time necessary to complete college-level courses, ability to clearly communicate ideas in writing, readiness to engage and think critically about new ideas, and skills necessary in problem solving.
Call OU-Greater Kansas City at 888-404-6852 to speak with a faculty advisor concerning your interests, background, and general admission into the Online Bachelor's Degree in Management. If you call, and a faculty member is not available, an appointment that is convenient to your schedule will be arranged.

Step 3: Request Transcripts
In order for Ottawa University to provide you with the academic credit that you have earned at other institutions of higher education, we must have an original transcript from each prior granting institution.
We require that you request a transcript from your earlier institutions, and ask that you request that the transcripts be sent directly to the OU-Greater Kansas City registrar. Please note that we are unable to accept transcripts that are hand delivered.
Most institutions do not require a specific transcript request form; however, this form will help you request transcripts in an appropriate fashion. Your prior institutions will provide a transcript directly to the OU-Greater Kansas City registrar, who will evaluate and award college credit hours as soon as the transcripts are received.
