Greater Kansas City Campus - Teacher Licensure Program

The elementary licensure program at Ottawa University is designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and seek a teaching license. This program provides knowledge, social competencies, methods, and communication skills necessary to become an effective teacher.

Ottawa University's elementary education licensure program is based on state, regional and national certification/licensure criteria and competencies. It is accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) and the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
