Studies in Christian Ministry

This Focus Area is designed to integrate knowledge of the Bible and doctrine with practical experience. Focus is on acquiring the knowledge and skills students need to be ethical and effective servants of God. Students are expected to acquire a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of the nature of Christianity and its role in impacting a hurting world for God. Students gain an appreciation of how responsible study and application can make one more informed and proficient in sharing God’s love. Studies in Christian Ministries graduates leave with developed integrative critical-thinking skills and a proven ability to execute informed decision making processes. Graduates go on to positions with churches and other Christian organizations, as well as apply their training to secular careers. Also, majors are equipped to enter seminary.
