Online Master's in Business Administration - Online MBA

Ottawa University's Master of Business Administration has been developed to serve the needs of adult learners with high quality professional preparation in business incorporating personal values and professional ethics. The MBA program is offered both online and during the evening in a classroom setting for maximum flexibility.

At Ottawa University, we provide several options for graduate and post-graduate business study. In addition to our MBA program, students have the opportunity to gain more in-depth knowledge in specific content areas through completion of an MBA with a concentration. 

The required courses for completion of an MBA program at Ottawa University are outlined below. Students should develop their personal graduation plan in conjunction with the faculty advisors based on their individual educational and professional goals.

Please note:
Undergraduate ecomonics course is a prerequisite for BUS 7500.
Undergraduate accounting course is a prerequisite for BUS 7800.
Both undergraduate economics and accounting are prerequisites for BUS 7600.
MBA primer requiring an 80 percent passing rate on the post-test may substitute for the above prerequisites.

Concentrations

Each concentration area requires a minimum of 15 semester credit hours, which include a prerequisite course within the foundation courses. Students may complete their MBA degree with a concentration in as few as 42 semester credit hours by utilizing elective credit and foundation/concentration prerequisites. Students should contact their graduate faculty advisor for specific details.
