The Braves Athletic Hall of Fame was established for the purpose of honoring those
individuals who have gained recognition and fame for themselves and the University as a result of
their endeavors and accomplishments while a student/athlete, coach or Director of Athletics.
Individuals are selected annually and are honored during Homecoming weekend.
Expenses of the Braves Athletic Hall of Fame are underwritten by the Braves Athletic Hall of Fame Fund.
Candidates for the honor must have completed their degree, as well as earned an athletic letter at Ottawa University and must:
- Have distinguished themselves as an athlete and as a campus leader.
- Have agreed through their contribution to profession, community and church, to be present, unless deceased, to personally accept their award.
- Have completed his/her athletic competition ten years prior to their selection.
- Have brought honor to their alma mater.
