OU Theatre presented two productions this fall. The first was the comedy Almost, Maine, by John Cariani, on September 30, October 1 and 2, featuring director Joel Williams ’00 and 19 student actors. Almost, Maine takes place on a starry night in the town of Almost, located somewhere in upper Maine. The show revolves around the theme of love as it is discovered by a series of couples at various stages of their relationships.

The second was Urinetown: The Musical, by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, on November 11, 12 and 13. Urinetown follows the story of Bobby Strong as he fights for the rights of the poor against the villainous Caldwell B. Cladwell. In the midst of the revolution, Bobby falls in love with Cladwell’s daughter, Hope, setting up dilemmas for all involved. Cast and chorus members included both students and staff.
