Have a computer question or problem? Forgot a password? Phone not working? OU Help provides technical support and resolution to students, staff and faculty university-wide, including help with MyOttawa, e-mail, Blackboard, OU Wireless, and even cell phones. Between July 2012 and June 2013, OUHelp logged 5,348 help requests during regular office hours, with an additional 175 per month, on average, after hours. To facilitate the support they provide, the OU Help team now uses software to remote into computers at any of the campuses, allowing them to fulfill numerous help requests without ever touching the affected device. OU Help can be accessed via www.ottawa.edu/ouhelp and through e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, users can engage with an OU Help agent on the phone from 8 a.m. to midnight or through live chat. The live chat feature is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
