This year marked the second annual DECA Haunted Hike 5k event, which is organized by the OU student DECA group. The event took place Saturday, October 6, with proceeds benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Matt Bollig family. Bollig, an OU transfer student and Braves quarterback, suffered a spinal cord injury in a weight room incident during a summer workout with the Braves football team. Each participant received a t-shirt that was designed by one of the DECA members. The DECA chapter was chartered at the start of the 2011-12 academic year.
