Pro-bono Tax Clinic

Posted by Paula Paine on May 20, 2011 in accounting, Community, "Current Students", Events, taxes, "The College" Ottawa University’s accounting students, under the supervision of Assistant Professor of Business Administration Dr. Marylou DeWald, once again provided free preparation of income tax forms for members of the local Ottawa community as part of an annual service-learning project within its accounting department. The tax preparation service was particularly designed to benefit those in the low-moderate income range and senior citizens. Forms included in the service were federal forms 1040A, 1040-EZ, and Kansas associated forms, including Homestead tax and Food and Sales tax forms.
