Water Crox Named Campus Executive, Ottawa University - Indiana

Crox began his career with OU in 2008 as a retention advisor, focusing on the student experience and degree planning. In 2010, he was appointed interim campus executive, and also served as dean of instruction and CAPS advisor. During his time in Indiana, the campus has experienced positive student and financial outcomes, as well as enrollment growth, both at the site location and online. Crox brings general management experience from other service industries in addition to higher education. He is a twotime graduate of Ottawa University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Management ’07 and a Master of Business Administration ’10. “Walter has been instrumental during the leadership change in Indiana, serving as interim campus executive,” says Brian Messer, vice president for Adult, Professional and Online Studies. “Under Walter’s leadership, the staff have taken on additional responsibilities throughout the year and have performed very well as a team.”
