The Theatre Department annually presents at least three major productions. These productions vary in scope and type, including traditional works, musicals, contemporary works, dinner theater, and experimental theater. The productions offer students a wide variety of opportunities to experience theater and become involved in all aspects of theatre productions.

Ottawa University Theatre is presenting Rodger and Hammerstein's Cinderella at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 31-November 2, 2013; and Sunday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. in the Larry D. Peters Auditorium. Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella brings a fairy tale to life on the Peters Auditorium stage. Tickets are free for OU Staff, Faculty and Students, $12 regular admission and $6 for high school students and senior citizens (age 62+). To order tickets, call the box office at 785-248-2460.
A special Tea with Cinderella and her Royal Court will be taking place on Sunday, November 3, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best prince and princess outfits, and will receive a 5" x 7" commemorative photo with Cinderella, enjoy light refreshments, as well as a ticket to the matinee production.
In addition, youth sized t-shirts are available for pre-order at a cost of $10 each.
