Ottawa University Band
The
Ottawa University Band is the premier large wind and percussion ensemble at Ottawa University. The band consists of music majors, non-music majors, and community members joining together to perform the finest band/wind ensemble music. Repertory form both traditional and contemporary genres provides for great learning and performance experiences. Participation in the University/Community Band is by
audition and invitation. The band rehearses weekly and presents public performances in both the fall and spring semesters of the academic year. Members from this band also perform in the
University Pep Band which provides exciting entertainment at home football and basketball games.
University Pep Band
The University Pep Band is a non-credit instrumental ensemble that performs at all home football and basketball games. The pep band is open to all students with an interest in having fun playing popular, contemporary and rock tunes to generate excitement and support for their fellow student athletes. No audition is required.
