Brian Baggett is a Lawrence, KS based professional jazz guitarist, guitar teacher, and active jazz educator. He studied jazz composition and improvisation with Dr. Chuck Tumlinson and and privately with guitar masters Reggie Wooten and Danny Embrey. Baggett has been featured in Guitar Player Magazine and was a part of the Jazz Ambassadors Guitars Galore cover story in 2003. He has been a member of the faculty for the KU Jazz Workshop since 2006 and continues to be a guest artist/clinician at several universities, academies, and public schools. Baggett has maintained a private teaching studio since 1994, producing several award winning guitarists. He can be seen playing with Kansas City's finest musicians in the best jazz clubs around.
