You May Qualify For Aid – Find Out How

Our Interactive Cost Estimator makes it easy to figure out your financial aid needs.

Applying for Financial Aid

We want to make this process simple for you. Our Ottawa University Family Financial Planner is available to assist you and your family. Make an appointment online or call 785.248.2372 and we’ll help you explore your options.

The best way to determine eligibility for federal and state funding is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Submitting the FAFSA by March 15 will ensure consideration for all forms of financial aid at Ottawa University. Contact us for help completing the FAFSA.

Your Financial Aid Award Letter
When all application materials, including the FAFSA, are received, we will send your financial aid award letter. The award letter lists all financial aid you are eligible to receive, including scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans. You are automatically considered for Ottawa University scholarships upon admission.

The award letter is subject to change if your financial aid eligibility changes. Some financial aid awards require you to send us a few extra forms, but don’t worry, we can help you fill them out!

Follow the steps below to start your financial aid application.
Apply early to ensure that funds are available when needed. (The application process can take up to six weeks.)
