Ottawa University Braves football team is preparing to embark on another school historical moment--playing in the second round of the NAIA Playoffs. This is the first year the Braves have garnered a post-season win. The come-from-behind win over Hastings College on November 21, not only kept the undefeated season in tact, but it also advanced OU into the quarterfinal playoffs. With only eight teams remaining, the Braves are looking to upset Lindenwood University this Saturday, November 28. Lindenwood comes into the game with the number one pass offenses in the country. The Lions defense is currently allowing just 18.1 points a game and has held over half of their opponents to 14 points or less. The Braves are averaging more than 400 yards passing per game and are in the Top Five in the NAIA in total offense and scoring offense. Its defense is allowing just over 20 points a game. Interestingly, the Braves have won four games decided by a touchdown or less, while LU has not had one game decided by seven or less points in 2009. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Missouri.
Lindenwood University does not have reserved seating, guests normally utilize the opposite side of the field from the press box with home fans using the press box side of the field and end zone seating.
