The Center for Holistic Education is a new and exciting concept at Ottawa University which will drive the ongoing development and strengthening of the liberal arts curriculum, as well as house what we call our “LifePlan” centers. The CHE is charged with the development of the whole person while attending to the many and varied developmental and advisory needs of our students, regardless of the academic program they are pursuing or the campus or delivery platform in which they are engaged with us. We fully expect the CHE, in conjunction with three distinctive schools, to create some outstanding educational outcomes and to further differentiate our institution in the marketplace and in the field of higher education.

The Center for Holistic Education is designed to reside in the middle of the three schools, connected in important ways to each to ensure that all OU students are informed by the liberal arts in a cohesive and effective manner and benefit from our core curriculum and the two specialized student advising and support units in Adult Professional and Online Studies and The College.
