Master's Degree Programs Wisconsin Campus
Ottawa University - Wisconsin offers both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and a Master of Arts in Human Resources. Ottawa University's master's programs were developed specifically to serve the needs of adult learners and provide organizations with highly qualified professionals. The importance of personal values and professional ethics are incorporated throughout the program. The programs are also available ONLINE.
Our master's programs emphasize a global perspective on business, communication skills and direct application to students' current and future career goals. The program is intended for individuals who want to increase their knowledge of essential business functions and develop leadership skills and expertise in strategic management.
Students have the option of completing courses in an evening classroom setting, online or a combination of both. Online students attend a weekend session at the beginning of each 11-week term to meet their instructors, receive courseware training and academic advising. Both programs consist of 36 semester credit hours of formal coursework.
MBA Concentrations
Students may also choose to gain more knowledge and expertise in specific areas of business by completing a concentration. Five areas of concentrations are offered to Ottawa University's Wisconsin students. Concentrations allow students to gain a deeper understanding of a specific area of business. The MBA concentration options are:
- Leadership and Management
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Health Care Management
- Marketing
Applying to the Master's Program:
Student interested in applying to Ottawa University's master's program should complete the Master's Degree Admission requirements. The admissions committee evaluates all applications on the basis of the student's academic background, work experience, recommendation letters, and personal statement on career development. GMAT and GRE scores are not required. For MBA applicants without a bachelor's degree in business administration, or a closely related field, some additional coursework may be required.
