Dr. Jacque Daly to Transfer to OU-Arizona

Daly receptionDr. Jacque Daly, faculty advisor at the Ottawa University-Milwaukee campus since 1999, will be transferring to OU's Arizona campus on April 24. Students, alumni, adjunct faculty, and staff recently joined together to wish her farewell at an Irish-themed reception hosted by Dr. Rhoda Miller and her faculty colleagues. The Irish Farewell Blessing was offered by Campus Executive Officer Elaine George in honor of Daly's Irish heritage.

"Working with adult learners had been an inspiration for me," said Daly. "Witnessing changes occurring as they move through their academic journey is quite an emotional experience that consistently reminds me how I have been blessed these past nine years. I have participated in a number of projects at our Wisconsin campus, as well as University-wide, but nothing could be more significant than the gifts of knowledge I have given, and more importantly received, from my students as a faculty advisor at Ottawa-Wisconsin."

All of us at Ottawa-Wisconsin send Jacque to Arizona with our best wishes. We will miss her smiling face, but we look forward to our continuing relationship with Dr. Daly.
