She also served for five years as Geneva's director of admissions.

Dr. Ware received a Master of Arts in Student Personnel Administration at Slippery Rock University (PA) and received a PhD in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Her doctoral dissertation was entitled "Christian Colleges: Addressing the Service (Learning) Mandate."

Of her appointment, Ottawa University's Vice President and Provost for Adult Professional Studies (APS) Terry Haines said, "I look forward to Dr. Ware's leadership in an already excellent academic program in Wisconsin.  Robin brings to Ottawa University a wealth of knowledge and strong higher education experience. These are exciting times at OU-Wisconsin."

Ware will begin her duties as campus executive officer on July 1.
