Ottawa University invites and encourages family and friends to attend and participate in celebrating our graduates annually at one of our commencement ceremonies. The commencement season is filled with hope and purpose as our graduates achieve a meaningful milestone and pursue new career opportunities. We recognize and applaud our graduates and their respective families during graduation ceremonies conducted at each campus.
For our residential campus in Ottawa, KS, the commencement date, time, and location are detailed below. The Fredrikson Chapel will open 60 minutes prior to the start time. Due to the number of graduates and attendees, each graduate is given a predetermined number of tickets to distribute to family and friends. While there is limited seating available within the Fredrikson Chapel, the Hetrick Bistro provides a family-friendly remote viewing area, with Starbucks beverages and continental breakfast available for purchase. For more information please review The College Commencement booklet (available in February).
For our Overland Park, KS; Phoenix, AZ; Jeffersonville, IN; Brookfield, WI campuses and online students, our commencement ceremonies are open to graduates and their respective families completing degree programs based on seating availability. An application for graduation must be completed and submitted to the appropriate campus at least 90 days prior to the ceremony date. The commencement ceremony dates, times, and locations are detailed below.
