The History program at Ottawa University allows students to study past human activity and the nature, purpose and principles of governmental systems throughout the world. In this program, you can develop an understanding of both national and international public events and trends. You can also evaluate political, social and economic transactions in the context of religious, philosophical and cultural influences, as well as analyze the impact of past events on some of today's biggest problems. By engaging with complex issues of policy, politics and civic priorities, you can develop critical-thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
