Events for 5-24-2007
Ottawa University is busy preparing for Fall 2007 and your arrival on campus. Pre-registration has been scheduled to assist you and our new incoming students with the transition to OU. We encourage you to select the Pre-registration Day that best fits your schedule and return the enclosed registration form by the RSVP date listed below. If you cannot attend any of the Pre-registration Days, please contact the Office of Admissions immediately to make alternate arrangements.

There are many benefits to attending a Pre-registration Day. A few of these benefits include:
- meeting with others in your incoming class to begin developing friendships;
- more options for pre-registering for the classes you want (ensuring fewer closed classes), at the times best suited for your schedule (possibly avoiding early morning classes?); and
- another opportunity to meet our faculty, staff, and students!
We prepare individualized packets for every student. So that we may have your packet completed, please register using the enclosed registration form and return no later than the RSVP date listed using the business reply envelope enclosed. For your convenience you may call the Office of Admissions at (800) 755-5200, ext. 2, e-mail to in theadmiss@ottawa.edu, or fax a note to us at 785.229.1008. If you have not already done so, send in your $150 enrollment/housing deposit (on-campus) or $100 enrollment/housing deposit (off-campus) and the Residence Life Form, prior to the selected pre-registration date. Once this is done, you can expect your room assignment notification shortly thereafter. Also, we must receive a final official copy of your high school and/or college transcripts prior to your enrollment at Ottawa University. We understand these transcripts may not be available by your Pre-registration Day. If this is the case, please make arrangements for them to be sent to Ottawa University as soon as possible.
These Pre-registration Days are opportunities for you to meet with an advisor and to pre-register for classes for the fall semester. Your parents are strongly encouraged to attend. This will give them the opportunity to meet with other offices and departments such as financial aid, academics, student affairs and other areas. Also, be reminded that we will have important sessions for your parents to attend as you prepare to join us in the fall.
