Amy Piersol Returns to Ottawa University as Executive Director of Development

OTTAWA, Kansas - Amy J. Piersol has been hired to become executive director of development.  Amy is a 1993 graduate of Ottawa University and received her Master of Arts in Human Resources from Ottawa University's Kansas City campus in 2001.

Amy began her employment with Ottawa University in the University Advancement Office as the annual fund manager and assumed the duties of director of alumni relations after one year.  She managed the annual fund and was very involved in the ‘Touch the Future' campaign.  While at OU she also assumed the role of planned giving director while also serving as the alumni director.  She went on to work at the University of Kansas Endowment Association as a major gifts officer where she assisted in a successful campaign.  She is skilled at grant writing and proposals as well as working closely with donors to solicit gifts. As an effective relationship builder, we welcome her talents to the University Advancement team.
