City of Brookfield Mayor Welcomes Ottawa University's New President and New OU Campus at Ribbon Cutting Event

BROOKFIELD, Wisconsin - A ribbon cutting ceremony and welcome event for OU's new campus and new President will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. to celebrate the "New Beginnings" at OU's Wisconsin campus.

The day's events will include a welcome given by University representatives as well as the City of Brookfield Mayor, Jeffery Speaker, and a statement given by OU's new President, Dr. Fred Snow regarding the University and its position in the competitive market of adult education.

"Ottawa University's history is filled with many new beginnings. This year we have much to celebrate: a new President, Dr. Fred Snow, a new and larger facility in to better serve our Wisconsin students, and the start of our 15th year in Brookfield. Please join us March 21 to meet our new president and to celebrate our ribbon cutting event," said Elaine George, campus executive officer of the Wisconsin campus.

There will be time following the event for the media to meet with Dr. Snow and the campus' visitors.
