Snow Steps Down
University President leaving to pursue other opportunities
OTTAWA, Kansas - Ottawa University announced today the resignation of Dr. Fred Snow as President of Ottawa University. Dr. Snow will leave the University on July 16, 2007 to pursue other opportunities.
During this past year, Dr. Snow Fred pioneered several important initiatives that will serve to strengthen the University and advance Ottawa's mission well into the future. "We appreciate the vision and energy Dr. Snow and his wife, Gloria, have brought to Ottawa University. We are confident he will be very successful in his future endeavors." stated Patti Wolf, Chair of the Board of Trustees.
"We have accomplished a tremendous amount in the last year. I am most confident Ottawa University will continue to be successful", stated Snow.
Wolf stated the Board of Trustees will name an interim president and begin a national search for a new president. The initiatives outlined by Snow will continue to move forward.
