Position Title: Physicist/Physical Chemist (fall 2008)
Unit and location: The College; Ottawa, Kansas
Reports to: Academic Dean
Position Summary
The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Ottawa University invites applications to fill a Physicist/Physical Chemist tenure-track position to begin fall 2008. This is a 9-month appointment. Faculty member will be expected to successfully teach, lecture and hold laboratory courses. Credentials to teach an undergraduate physical chemistry course a plus.
Founded in 1865, Ottawa University is a comprehensive university affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA, with long-standing ties with the Ottawa tribe.
Qualifications
PhD Physicist or Physical Chemist preferred, ABD candidates or MS/MA in Mathematics/ Physics/Physical Chemistry will be considered. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
