Wayne D. Angell University Chair in Economics
Ottawa University, an entrepreneurial Christian University in Ottawa, Kansas seeks candidates and/or nominations for its Wayne D. Angell University Chair in Economics (tenure-track position).
This endowed chair is named for the long time Ottawa professor of economics, former dean of the college, philanthropist and former governor of the Federal Reserve Board and offers an exciting opportunity to develop educational programs in Economics, Business, Banking and Wealth Management.
Qualifications include a terminal degree in economics, an enthusiasm for teaching, and an interest in exploring the relationship between economic freedom and human progress. An interest in and experience with financial institutions and capital markets will also be helpful. The successful candidate will have a strong orientation not only in teaching traditional baccalaureate students at the Ottawa College location but also in developing masters level curriculum for the University's online and adult programs.
