Information Technology systems Faculty POSITION (Fall 2008)

The Division of Business and Public Policy at Ottawa University invites applications to fill a tenure-track, or visiting professor position as Assistant Professor of Information Technology Systems to begin fall 2008. This is a 9-month appointment.

Founded in 1865, Ottawa University is a comprehensive university affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A., with long-standing ties with the Ottawa tribe. The College is a residential liberal arts campus nestled in a calm rural setting close to the cultural and metropolitan centers of Lawrence, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. Ottawa University is approximately 40 minutes from Kansas City. The university has campuses throughout the United States, including Kansas City, Arizona, Indiana, and Wisconsin. The university's mission includes the intellectual, physical, and spiritual development of its students.

Responsibilities include teaching information technology systems coursework, management, project management, and other ITS/business administration major coursework as well as serving as an advisor for information technology systems majors, and other duties as assigned. A commitment to scholarly activity is a plus. We seek an outstanding teacher with a strong commitment to liberal arts education in a small college setting.

PhD. preferred; Master's and teaching experience mandatory.
