2003 KCAC Champions!
The Ottawa University baseball team won 2003 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Title with wins against Bethany College, 6-5 and 4-1, on April 26th at Ottawa University. With the wins, the Braves improved to 20-2 in conference Play and 30-14 overall. With the wins Head Coach Jarrod Titus recorded his 200th and 201st wins of his career
Head Coach Jarrod Titus said about winning the conference, "We are happy and we are proud, however we have 2 games left in conference. We have done this before and now we need more. We need to keep focused on winning our remaining games and go into the region tournament looking to advance. We have a lot of baseball left to play."
Ottawa then went on to defeat Tabor College 9-2 and 9-3 to finish Conference Play 22-2 and then finished second in the to The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics baseball Region IV Tournament, held Wednesday-Saturday, May 7-10, at Hobert Detter Baseball Field in Hutchinson, Kansas. The Braves earned a school record for most wins in a season by finishing 35-16.
