2005 LADY BRAVES SOCCER SEASON PREVIEW

The Braves are coming off a great three-year stretch. In 2002, the Braves won the KCAC conference tournament and advanced to the Region IV tournament for the first time in school history. In 2003 the Braves swept both the KCAC regular season and post season championships and again advanced to Region IV play before losing to Park in overtime. In 2004 the Braves again pulled off the double and advanced to the semifinal round of the Region IV tournament before losing to Park. This season will bring different challenges, a new coach (Coach Wiggins left to be the head coach at Missouri Western State University) and the loss of some great seniors (Rosa Johnston, Carlie Kepley and Alison Hall) will be difficult to overcome, but this team knows nothing but winning, and with hard work and great leadership from our seniors, this could be another special season for the Women's Soccer team.
