Ottawa University Advancement

From special events to planned giving, Ottawa University's Office of University Advancement is dedicated to securing a bright financial future for the University. To that end, the Advancement staff seeks to connect with alumni and friends in an effort to carry on the Ottawa Spirit for generations to come.

Annual Support of OU

  • Gifts - given to support operations, scholarships and academic programs
  • Honors and memorials - gifts given in honor or memory of another individual
  • Special funds - gifts given to specific academic programs or athletics

Planned Giving

Gifts through trusts, estates, insurance, or IRA accounts.

Special Recognition Groups

Giving to Ottawa University may qualify you for a special recognition group. The groups include: The Heritage Roll of Honor, Cornerstone Society and Dome Society. Other giving societies include several groups within the Ottawa Fund.

Special Programs and Events

The Office of University Advancement also hosts many programs and activities that are either open to the general public, or by special invitation. Some of these events include: Homecoming Festival weekend, Heritage Luncheon and Reunion Celebration weekend activities. Check the OU Alumni Circle Calendar for dates and times of special events throughout the year.
