Dr. Amy Hogan has accepted the position of interim dean of the School of Education following the resignation of Dr. David Barnes. Hogan has served as the associate dean of the School of Education since the summer of 2011. She has maintained a leadership role in the education program since 2005 and a teaching role since 2003. She earned her PhD in advanced K-12 Instruction from Capella University and earned both a Master’s in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Baker University. Hogan has extensive experience as a K-12 trained teacher, college professor and academic administrator. Peg Gernand ’07, ’09 IN has been named interim campus executive (CE) for OU-Indiana following the resignation of Walter Crox ’07, ’10 IN, who held the position for two years. Gernand has been with Ottawa University-Indiana since 2005, most recently serving as a senior enrollment advisor. She also served as interim campus executive prior to Crox’s appointment.
