Counseling Services

The College provides resources for students to receive assistance when they face personal dilemmas, such as difficulties in school, spiritual matters, career choices, or problems with family and/or personal relationships.

Students living on campus should first contact a member of the residence hall staff, either a resident director (RD) and/or resident assistant (RA). The resident hall staff is trained to provide help with routine situations.

If students require in-depth counseling, they may visit with the campus pastor or an Office of Student Affairs staff member, who can make appropriate referrals. All counseling sessions are confidential, in accordance with state and federal laws, and records of counseling sessions will not appear in students' academic files.
