As one of the pioneers in adult education in the United States, OU opened its first adult campus in 1974. Since that time, additional campuses focusing on the needs of working adults have been established in Arizona, Wisconsin and Indiana, as well as multiple international locations.

A short drive from anywhere in the Milwaukee and Waukesha metropolitan areas, Ottawa University-Wisconsin is conveniently located off of I-94 between Moorland and Barker Roads in Brookfield, one block south of Bluemound Road in Brookfield at 245 South Executive Drive, Suite 110.  Undergraduate courses are also offered in Oak Creek at the MATC South Campus, located less than two miles east of I-94 and just south of College Avenue.

Ottawa University's curriculum focuses on application of concepts to current and prospective career situations. Students have the ability to earn or transfer credits based on career/work experience, academic experience and other life experiences.  Eleven undergraduate majors, various concentrations, minors and double majors are available.  Graduate programs are also offered including a Master of Business Administration, where students have the option to complete a concentration in Leadership & Management, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or Health Care Management, and a Master of Arts in Human Resources.
