Public & Media Relations
The Office of Communications serves the entire Ottawa University community and is the primary interface with press and media outlets on all communications issues. The Office of Communications coordinates news updates, press releases, media alerts, personnel announcements, and honors pronouncements, as well as composes publications such as the Ottawa Spirit and Annual Report. The public relations team produces articles, research, and projects to recognize the work of faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and to promote the overall vision, mission and values of Ottawa University.

Dr. Linda King has joined Ottawa University as assistant professor of nursing, and will be working as part of the lead faculty team charged with the facilitation and assessment of the University’s nursing program.
Dr. Kasey Johnson has accepted a full-time position at Ottawa University as assistant professor of education, lead education faculty member, and professor in charge of OU’s Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program.
Dr. Kim Coffman-Romero and Prof. Fred Romero have been impacting students in Arizona and beyond in their respective roles at Ottawa University’s adult campus in Phoenix.
The University acquired the two-story Queen Anne-style home as a gift in February 2018.
Two Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) initiatives being steered by the Ottawa University Advancement office are nearing fruition on the OUKS campus.
