Public & Media Relations
The Office of Communications serves the entire Ottawa University community and is the primary interface with press and media outlets on all communications issues. The Office of Communications coordinates news updates, press releases, media alerts, personnel announcements, and honors pronouncements, as well as composes publications such as the Ottawa Spirit and Annual Report. The public relations team produces articles, research, and projects to recognize the work of faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and to promote the overall vision, mission and values of Ottawa University.

Ottawa University has been awarded a $730,000 challenge grant by the Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, Okla., for renovation of the Mabee Center on the Ottawa campus.
Ottawa University's Gwartney Institute has received a $500,000 grant from the Menard family to fund a professorship in philosophy and ethics and other programming.
