Mission to Ukraine

Dave Owen, Chairman of the David C. Owen Leadership Institute at Ottawa University, will be traveling to the country of Ukraine along with pastors from the Lenexa Baptist Church in Lenexa, KS to establish a support ministry there which will provide aid to the citizens of that war torn country. Once established and local operatives have been recruited and put in place, aid in the form of food, clothing and financial support will begin flowing to the newly established ministry.

Owen stated, “Our hearts go out to the citizens of Ukraine who are the innocent victims of this needless atrocity by Vladimir Putin. Their refusal to back down and fight back for their national sovereignty has been an inspiration to the world. This mission is just one small thing we can do to support these brave people. Standing by and doing nothing is not an option”.
