Instructor Alana Kopp grew up an Air Force brat and finished her high school years on the family's historical farm in Kimball, Minnesota. She completed her Associate of Arts and Bachelor degrees in Rochester, Minnesota. In the early 1990's she moved to the west coast to begin her teaching career in San Bernardino, California and pursued her master degree in pupil personnel services. Alana has spent over 25 years in education within the public schools as classroom teacher, instructional coach (including turn-around coaching with Arizona Department of Education) and elementary school counselor. Alana began teaching with Ottawa in the Master of Arts in Education in the School Counseling program in 2017 and wishes she had begun this endeavor earlier. She is a pastor's wife and mother of two young men. Ministry and family keep her active and she loves relaxing at the beach.
