Dr. Allen Farina was raised in Wisconsin, but currently resides in Florida. While in Wisconsin, Dr. Farina earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Marquette University and his master’s degree in Education at Lakeland University. In Florida, he pursued doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at Lynn University. Dr. Farina currently works with learners at all levels of education with several universities and colleges. He serves on dissertation committees for students pursuing doctoral degrees in Education, teaches graduate classes in Education, facilitates undergraduate courses in Sociology, and instructs students at the Associate level in Psychology. Curriculum writing and mentoring new online faculty are also current job functions. Past positions include teaching and administration in K-12 and higher education settings. Dr. Farina’s passion is being of service to students with the goal of helping them build bridges to get from “where they are” to “where they want to be." His favorite education mantra from the late and great Mr. Mandela is, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
