Instructor Nielsen is an adjunct professor of School Psychology in Ottawa's Phoenix and Queen Creek campuses, teaching a variety of graduate level school psychology courses. He also teaches Educational Psychology online for Ottawa. He grew up in Cedar Hills, Utah and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Spanish from Utah State University. He then earned a Master's in Education and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Idaho State University. Edward has been working as a Nationally Certified Bilingual School Psychologist for 9 years. He also taught for the behavioral sciences department at Utah Valley University for three years before moving to Arizona. He loves working in schools as a school psychologist and being able to bring that experience to the classroom, teaching future school psychologists and teachers. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family, going to the movies and taking family trips. He also loves to watch basketball with his children.
