Dr. Jennifer Johnson is an Adjunct Instructor within Ottawa University's Arizona-based School Psychology program. Dr. Johnson, a recipient of Arizona State University's Leadership Scholarship, earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology in 1992 and, from there, relocated to Florida. While in Florida, she earned her masters, specialist and doctoral degrees in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in School Psychology from the University of South Florida. Following the completion of her program, she returned to Arizona to be closer to family. She has now been a practitioner for over 20 years and currently serves as the Director of Psychological Services for Edkey, Inc./Sequoia Charter schools which maintains sites throughout the state of Arizona. Dr. Johnson is a former president of the Arizona Association of School Psychologists and remains an active member in both her state and national professional organizations. Her professional interests include consultation, special education law and program development. In her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys reading, exercising, writing, and spending time with her family and pets.
