Dr. Moore entered the field of education as a 2007 Teach For America Corps Member, where he taught middle school in South Phoenix. After his time in the classroom, Dr. Moore became a Reading Specialist where he assisted his colleagues in implementing effective reading instruction. In 2012, he transitioned to school administration, where he most recently served as Principal of one of the largest K-8 schools in South Phoenix. He also began serving at Ottawa University as an adjunct instructor in 2012 and has taught a multitude of courses ranging from Philosophy, Accountability, and Change to Educational Statistical Methods. In 2016, Dr. Moore became the Deputy Associate Superintendent of K-12 Academic Standards at the Arizona Department of Education. When not working on behalf of the students and educators in Arizona, Dr. Moore enjoys time on the tennis court and traveling.
