Dr. Justin Henry grew up in Sterling, Kansas and completed his undergraduate degrees at Sterling College. While teaching high school Chemistry and Physics at Ottawa High School, he completed his Master's of Science from Emporia State University. After completing this degree, Dr. Henry served three years as an assistant principal at Ottawa High and three years as the principal while earning his Doctorate of Education at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Henry has served as a Kansas superintendent for over a decade, first serving four years in the Southeast of Saline School district and currently in USD 265, Goddard Public Schools. In addition to serving as a superintendent, Dr. Henry is a consultant for the McPherson and Jacobson Executive Search Firm, teaches at Ottawa University and is active in multiple professional organizations including the Kansas School Superintendents Association, the American Association of School Administrators, Suburban School Superintendents, and the Mid-American Association of School Superintendents.
